Murmur: West Of The Fields

I think that my favorite thing about my hometown is that it is a very rural area and it is a great place to find beautiful landscapes and plantlife! I live in the middle of the State Game Lands which are a great area for wildlife and plants to thrive. I took this photo while I was out walking in one of the many nearby fields that are just off my road. This particular area is very near to the old church and 1800's graveyard at the one end of my road. There are many beautiful areas like this in my hometown due to much of the woodlands and fields being owned by the Game Commission so much of these areas are left undisturbed and become great shelter for wildlife. It is always so peaceful living in an area that is as rural as Dillsburg because the air is not cluttered with the sounds of city life.
Does anyone else get the R.E.M. reference? If not, they're my favorite band of all time and this area made me think of the album cover art for their first album 'Murmur' from 1983 (seen here ---> [link]) Even though it does not look exactly like the cover it was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this area. 'West of the Fields' is the track title to one of the songs on the CD. Very fitting seeing how there were fields that were east of this area so it truely was 'west of the fields'.
